What are telemetry LEDs?
Telemetry LEDs are the addressable light indicators found on sim racing hardware that display real-time data from your simulator. On most DDUs (Dedicated Display Units) and high-end steering wheels, the LED configuration consists of three sections:
- Top Bar - The main RPM indicator showing engine revs and shift points
- Left Peripheral - Typically shows flags, warnings, or pit indicators
- Right Peripheral - Often displays TC/ABS status, DRS, or other telemetry
DNR profiles configure these LEDs to display telemetry in visually optimized patterns, making critical information instantly readable during racing.
